Evening: Official opening, by Major General Martin White CB, CBE, JP, HM Lord Lieutenant of the Isle of Wight, of the exhibition to celebrate the bicentenary of Shanklin Chine.

Morning: Attending first HS Trust meeting at Newport Police Station

 

Evening: Joining the Isle of Wight German Twinning Association’s visit by people from Coburg at the Coburg Kinder-und Jugendtheater performance evening at Winchester House, Shanklin.
This will be the third occasion that the Coburg Kinder-und Jugendtheater has visited the Island and this year they are collaborating for the first time with Island Scouts.

Tuesday 11th April

 

Evening: Official opening by TV presenter, Dan Snow, of the Shipwreck Centre and Maritime Museum at Arreton Barns Craft Village.
Major General Martin White CB, CBE, JP, HM Lord Lieutenant of the Isle of Wight and President of the Maritime Archaeology Trust will be presiding.
